"I started playing golf at the age of 14 in Haarlem, The Netherlands, and quickly fell in love with the sport, despite growing up in a wheelchair due to a metabolic disease.

Golf became my passion, and I set my sights on competing at the highest level. A key turning point came when I discovered my true love for competition during tournaments, and realized I wanted to live the life of a professional athlete.

I have always been driven by the belief that the sky is not the limit, it’s just the beginning. My journey led me to the United States, where I started my college golf career at IHCC in August 2024.

Since deciding to go all in, I have committed to continuous improvement and see my past as a celebration of everything I have already overcome to reach this point. Every day, I work relentlessly to push my limits, especially when no one is watching.

I focus on turning my weaknesses into strengths and hope my dedication inspires others to chase their dreams. For me, it’s all about the journey, the effort, and believing in yourself.

My ultimate goal is to play at the highest level of competitive golf and represent the Netherlands at the Olympic Games.”
